Electrical Equipment and Software Defects
There have been a number of defects reported with the electrical system on the QX60 including check engine lights appearing when there is not an issue, navigation systems malfunctioning, and the key features not working properly. One of the more serious defects is to do with the lack of brakes. Drivers have reported that the brakes have failed to deploy which is, of course, very serious.
Exhaust System Emission Control
There have been several complaints relating to the car spluttering and juddering or with loud noises coming from the exhaust. Check engine lights appear when the fuel tank is full and some drivers have reported the car overheating or just turning off completely.
Electronic Stability Control
